Server-side component(s)

Network consists of member- and homesites, the Sxip rootsite and authoritative sites. These communicate with via the user’s browser. Profiles are stored on various homesites, links between users and profiles are stored on the rootsite.

Client-side component(s)

At present, no user-data is stored on the client. Sxip Network 2.0 ist announced to be able to store data locally. At the moment, profiles must be stored on homesite-servers.

Different digital identities called personas can be created. Users are in complete control of the usage of their data.
