Description of functionality / features (client and server)

Jabber-network offers a bridging to other chat-networks through so called transports, which emulate client features on server-side. Thus upgrades in functionality require only a server update, the client stays the same. Encryption is achieved with OpenPGP.

Main functionality

Jabber users can choose, which Jabber-server they want to connect to. Jabber-IDs (JID) can be easily created, so different Identities can be used.
